Thielen Canned Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients
1 white onion
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp salt
15 oz. can tomato sauce
12 oz. can tomato paste
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp worchester sauce
1 tsp minced parsley
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp italian spices
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp basil
Directions
Add everything to large pot.
Summer uncovered for 3 hours.
If you are canning, pour hot sauce into hot quart canning jars and seal with canning lids and rings.
Simmer filled jars in hot water bath canned for 35 minutes.
Remove jars from canner and do not touch for 24 hours.
Label and store in dark place.
